A B Walker is an independent, family-owned funeral director founded in 1826, still run by the same family across seven generations, with nine branches across Berkshire and south Oxfordshire including Thatcham. Almost two centuries of continuous local service underpin the trust families place in the firm.
The Thatcham branch, based at Westfield House, offers traditional and personalised cremations and burials, direct cremation, green and natural burials, memorial masonry and grave tending, plus a range of urns, keepsakes and memorial jewellery. The firm targets net zero emissions and has maintained carbon neutrality for several years, reflecting its commitment to sustainable practice.
With transparent, published pricing and a strong Trustpilot reputation, A B Walker offers Thatcham families the reassurance of a long-established independent business combined with genuinely personal, local care.
